INNOVATION PROGRAM
MATCHER is the International Open Innovation program based in Emilia-Romagna region that aims at supporting local companies to address specific business challenges by creating strategic matches with other actors of the international innovation ecosystem, in particular start-ups and scale-ups.
The third edition is involving three types of actors: 10 selected companies from Emilia-Romagna region, national and international start-ups and scale-ups and all the actors from the Italian and international innovation ecosystem.
The third edition addresses challenges regarding Human Centric Innovation. These challenges concern four main trends:

Corporates will be interviewed to prioritize their objectives and needs around innovation, strategy, and future-proof solutions during 1to1 calls
INTERNATIONAL ROADSHOW
July – November 2022
International Roadshow to scout startups from all over the world operated in the four fields of the Human Centric Innovation topic
CALL IS OPEN
July 19th, 2022
Startups admitted to the program must meet two criteria: high-level fit with corporate partner challenges and candidate maturity (min TRL of 4)
STARTUP/SCALEUP PREPARATION
September 1st, 2022
Startups will be supported by professional consultants to be prepared for meeting the Corporate partners through virtual learning and 1to1 meetings
MATCH.POINT
September 13th, 2022
Corporate partners and startups matchmaking meetings to build and create win-win relationships aiming to improve their business following the Human Centric Innovation thematic
BIG.MATCH + FINAL.MATCH
November 28th and 29th, 2022
An Open Innovation event will be open to innovative companies, startups, research labs and international guests, that will be invited to give inspirational speeches
